About us

La Mansarda is a family home, not a hotel. It sits in the historic centre of Nicosia (province of Enna), in Sicily, and we run it ourselves: Paolo and Stefano Compagnone. When you arrive we welcome you in person, hand over the keys and point you to the right places to eat and the things to see in Nicosia. You'll find a small welcome kit and a basic breakfast ready for you.

We reply quickly to every message: what matters to us is that you feel at home, from the first contact all the way to your departure.

Your hosts

Paolo Compagnone is the owner of the property: he is the person who will most likely welcome you on arrival and guide you in discovering Nicosia, its flavours and its most authentic corners. Alongside him is Stefano, who looks after guest contact and handles requests before and during your stay.

We like La Mansarda to be a small, welcoming retreat: a welcome kit awaits you, a basic breakfast already prepared, a few honest tips on restaurants and things to see and, for quieter evenings, a guitar and a chessboard at your disposal in the flat.

Our property

La Mansarda is a one-bedroom flat of about 50 m² in the heart of Nicosia's historic centre, designed to host up to 2 people. It is on the 4th floor and, in all honesty, there is no lift: you'll need to take the stairs, but once up you'll find a bright, cosy home, perfect for a couple or for solo travellers.

You can book directly with us, with no intermediary fees: you write to us, we agree on the dates and sort out the rest together, in a simple and transparent way.

Transparency

The CIN (Italian National Identification Code) is displayed as required by the regulations on short-term tourist rentals.
